networKG4YSY was approached by KARE early 2008 to develop a site to expand KARE's information availability in the community. KARE is the child advocacy center for Haywood County, NC. To help the community, the site contains descriptions and contact information about all programs that are available. Each staff member is also listed with contact information and short description of their job.

Two distinct features of karehouse.org are article archives and the donation applet. Each month KARE writes an article for the local newspaper about child development. Even though the article is only in the paper one day, it is available forever on KARE's article archive. For those wishing to donate to the organization, the process has been streamlined. Instead of physically visiting the office, a donation can be made by filling out a simple form and mailing a check. An email is sent to the financial director formatted for printing on letterhead, while the person making the donation is given a printout pre-filled ready to be mailed. Possible online payments are a process we are researching.
